According to data released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the major 86 medium-and-large steel enterprises realized sales revenues of RMB300.292 billion in January, rising by 16%. The profits were at RMB1.338 billion.
However, 30% of those steel enterprises still posted losses in January. The loss reached RMB2.079 billion.
